Race to Easter

(Example from the internet)

Everybody recognizes this new trend where you combine several sweets together to make an interactive and inviting treat for Easter. This is one of many treats that with a little research and a little imagination can be reinvented to fit your special diet. This recipe is Gluten Free, Soy Free, Dairy Free, Dye Free and Casein Free.

You will need:

  • KATZ Heavenly Vanilla Creme Cakes (Twinkie equivalent)

  • Kinnikinnick Vanilla Wafers

  • Gluten Free Pretzels

  • Supernatural Kitchen Gluten Free Sprinkles

  • Lily's White Chocolate Chips (or other white chocolate equivalent)

  • Max Mallows any flavor

  • Silicon mold of bunny head

Step 1 - Assemble the bunnys driveway by crushing a few Vanilla Wafers, mixing it with some sprinkles and laying it on the plate

Step 2 - Thaw and cut the KATZ Heavenly Creme Cake in half

Step 3 - Melt the White Chocolate Chips and coat a Pretzel. Lay the pretzel to dry on parchment paper or a clean plate. Pour sprinkles on the pretzel while it is drying

Step 4 - Place 4 Max Mallows into 4 of the Bunny head silicon molds and place on a pan in the oven until melted

Step 5 - Remove the silicon mold and place in a cool/dry area (or in the freezer if you can manage it)

Step 6 - Remove the chilled bunny heads from the silicon mold (please note: Max Mallows will still be slightly sticky even when frozen)

Step 7 - Place one bunny head upside down to make the body and legs of the bunny driver and one bunny head right-side up to make the head. Place the bunny in the middle of the cut KATZ Heavenly Creme Cake

Step 8 - Place the decorated pretzel on the cut KATZ Heavenly Creme Cake

Step 9 - Melt a dairy free chocolate of choice and add bunny facial features (optional)

Enjoy!
