What is Autumn without traditional popcorn balls? It isn't!!
Many special diet individuals are still able to enjoy popcorn balls but for those with dairy limitations it can be hard to recreate these tasty treats.
Without further ado here is our take on homemade popcorn balls
What you will need is:
1/4 cup of unpopped popcorn kernels
11.6 oz. Sweetened condensed coconut milk
Step one: Pop the popcorn either in a pot on the stove or in a microwave safe glass bowl
Step two: Heat the sweetened condensed coconut milk in a pot on the stove over medium heat.
Step three: Stir the milk constantly until it turns a nice, golden brown (meaning it has caramelized)
Step four: Pour the coconut caramel over the popcorn and blend until well coated
Step five: Using a wooden spoon, a spatula or gloves, form the popcorn into ball (whatever size you like)
Step six: Cool and enjoy!
